About me

Polly Taylor smiling and wearing sunglasses, dressed in a colourful, abstract-patterned top and black shorts, standing in front of a vibrant graffiti wall.

I'm a designer with a passion for creating thoughtful, human-centered digital experiences. With empathy and curiosity at the core of my work, I design websites that are simple, joyful, and meaningful — helping small businesses and freelancers tell their stories online.

With 8 years of UX experience and a strong grounding in visual design, I bring both creative instinct and practical know-how to every project — working closely with clients to get things right.

I'm especially passionate about supporting women in tech and projects that champion women's rights and health. I believe design has the power to help us solve bigger problems, and I want my work to be part of that.

  • Affordable, flexible pricing based on your needs and budget. Transparency from the get-go.

I offer a free 45 minute initial consultation to get us started. All meetings and design work going forward will be charged at our agreed rate.

I charge by deliverables, not by time. I will outline which deliverables are due for payment at the beginning of the process. Payment will be due once. the deliverable is completed.

I charge a reduced rate for charities, NGOs and Non-profits.

  • While Ai can be a great tool, I’m a strong advocate for not adding to the Ai slop that’s out there currently. No one wants a site that looks like thousands of other Ai generated replicas.

Though I may use Ai for some small tasks, I will always take human approach to you and your business problem and design the site myself, in a way that reflects your brand, message and personality.

  • After working for 8 years in the male-dominated corporate tech world, I’m passionate about raising the visibility of women both online, and in the technology industry.

Got a project about women in tech, women’s rights or women’s health? Let me know how I can help.

  • I understand that as a freelancer or small business owner, you may have many strings to your bow, and wear many different hats as part of your work.

I can create a strategy with you to organise how you present this to your customers, to get the best possible structure for your online presence.

Testimonials

  • Jenny Stallard

"I found Polly via a networking group for female media creatives, and was instantly at ease when we met. She clearly grasped the concept of both my sites and she transformed my personal site. It now showcases my work and who I am much more clearly than before.

Polly is professional, considered and calm in her approach, working swiftly and communicating clearly, too.”

  • Paul Harman

"We hired Polly to prepare our new website, and the results were beyond our highest expectations. The site is clean, modern, bright and informative.

The service during the preparation was excellent and she has helped us further develop the page after its launch. All in all a superior customer experience.”
